Pre-K Early Intervention Program: This is a 1/2 day or full day program for children 3 to 5 years old with special needs. It is a developmentally based, theme oriented, pre-k program focusing on increasing the development of each child's communication, language, and socialization skills along with increasing learner readiness skills. Our learning activities are theme based. The daily schedule emphasizes: socialization, play, gross motor, fine motor, sensory, speech, language, oral motor, snack, music/songs, and pre-academic skills. Learning is offered in small groups with a low child to adult ratio. There are many Special Days incorporating the family including: Muffins for Mom, Donuts for Dad, Grandparents Day, field trips, Thanksgiving Feast, Santa Claus at our Christmas party, and many other holiday celebrations. Parental involvement and communication is a very important part of the program. There will be daily notes, a weekly newsletter, Volunteer Program, and open communication by phone, e-mail, and Parent/Teacher Conferences.
Children are not required to be toilet trained.
Social/Language Groups: We provide one hour sessions with the emphasis on developing socialization, turn taking, requesting, initiating interactions, asking for help, sharing information, expressing ideas, expressing emotions, recognizing body language, and engaging in problem solving. We offer groups for children 3 to 6 years old and 7 to 10 years old which meet during after school hours. The program runs 8 weeks.
Art: Sensory/Fine Motor/Language:This 8 week program will use a multi-sensory approach to make creative, three dimensional art projects. The activities will involve a variety of Fine Motor and Sensory skills encouraging the students with hands-on techniques.
Motor/Language Group (P.E.): This 8 week program is designed to introduce children to a wide range of sports and activities while building coordination, increasing self-esteem, and improving social/language skills in a non-competitive environment. Each week an activity emphasizing following directions and attending, will be chosen including: ball handling, obstacle courses, bowling, and many more fun activities.
Occupational Therapy: O.T. is available at the Cisco Center Monday - Thursday, 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Additional hours may be scheduled on an individual basis. Ms. Dina Miles Breslin is certified in Sensory Integration Therapy and Therapeutic Listening.
Toddler Time: This 8 week program, for two year olds, is an hour long social/language enhancement program developing language, speech, and social interaction skills.

Parent Workshops: Informational sessions and programs are offered during evening hours for parents on such relevant topics as: communication, child development, advocacy, developmental disorders, behavior management and estate planning.
Father's Group: This is a program offered for Dads by Dads during the evening hours. Our program recognizes the importance of Dad's role in developing your child's social, language, and communication skills.
